What book is it where Millirod's and the stockroom is written about?

Sears & Roebuck Mears-Starbuck and the stockroom are in Ham on Rye. Check chapter 46 and on.

Ah, you mean Milliron's...
He didn't namecheck Milliron's (or Millirod's for that matter) in any of his novels or collections of stories.

The map is accurate. The timeline is accurate. He worked at Milliron's for over a year and for Sears twice: in Los Angeles and New Orleans.

He only mentioned Milliron's once in a poem, "Some Of My Fathers" in Open All Night, but he wrote about it under other names - or under no name - many times.

And since Open All Night is tainted, we can't even be sure he used "Milliron's" in that poem (unless a manuscript turns up)...
