The map is accurate. The timeline is accurate. He worked at Milliron's for over a year and for Sears twice: in Los Angeles and New Orleans.
He only mentioned Milliron's once in a poem, "Some Of My Fathers" in Open All Night, but he wrote about it under other names - or under no name - many times.
And since Open All Night is tainted, we can't even be sure he used "Milliron's" in that poem (unless a manuscript turns up)...
