This is somewhat of a longshot. I have a few Bukowski poetry collections, however I often scour the internet for more poems and do not always take into consideration the names of all those I read. I am looking for two which I wish to find again; if anyone knows the names I would be very appreciative.
The first is about him growing up in the 30s, talking about his father. I remember something along the lines of "but there was that one time"... and Buk goes on to describe his father letting him feed the horses who dragged the milk cart. I know this memory also appears in 'Ham on Rye', however I'm under the (perhaps false) impression that a poem with this memory also was written.
The second was with regards to him drinking, and then sleeping in a lush graveyard. When he wakes up he describes the beauty of the graveyard, before then going back to the bar. I unfortunately cannot recall any lines, but the feeling has stuck.
