I remember one of my first bukowski books that wasnt bought at the peachtree battle strip mall in Atlanta.It was sitting on the counter of a bookstore in Columbia,S.C. I was barely married and in the bookstore leaving.I was walking past the cash register and they had a copy of " What matters most is how well you walk through the fire " and i bought it that day.I think it was November 1999.
I thought at that time that I had gotten everything available by Bukowski{stupid me} so it made it even more important...
