A couple of quotes (1 Viewer)

Hello everybody,

Here I have a small poem bearing Bukowski's name all over the Internet, but of course, without any proper source:

things will be far worse
than they are now.
and far better.
i wait.

Does anyone know where this comes from? Or maybe it's just another, for some reason far beyond me, falsely credited quote?

Thanks.

It's the last stanza of this night.

But there are 37 (better) lines before that. I guess whoever is quoting it found most of the poem to be unnecessary.

Thanks a lot. I was planning to ask about a few more quotes, but eventually found the source of them myself and then forgot to change the topic name. Just in case you're wondering why I named the topic "a couple of quotes" but only asked for one. Anyway, thanks again.
