An Evening with Taylor Hackford (2005) (1 Viewer)

A very interesting 83 minute program. Hackford speaks at length about Buk and making the Buk documentary prior to a screening a copy of it (he mentions that the master is lost), then after the film is shown he talks some more about Buk, but also about his other films and subjects: Ray Charles, Chuck Berry and Muhammad Ali.

He mentions that he still owns the film rights to Post Office, but that he allowed Schroeder to use the Betty character in Barfly as a favor to Buk -- and now feels that blew his chances of making Post Office back when, although (in 2005) he still hopes to make a film from Post Office.

Hackford talks almost non-stop and is still going strong when time runs out.
