Yeah, and I'm there too! :) Seriously, though, is this THE John Martin? Poem's great, but this guy is from Connecticut.

Actually, I'm from Boston, but I lived in Connecticut when I worked down there in the mid 80s-early 90s. That poem was written about a time when I lived in an apartment above a winery at the highest point in North Stonington, CT. Just a beautiful spot, and there was a dairy farm across the street (by that I mean a quarter mile away...).

And yes, the John Martin thing gets to be a bit of a problem on a website like this. But just a bit.

Glad you cleared that up. I didn't think the other Mr. Martin would use another publisher. For a short time I lived near a dairy in upper state NY, so your poem was familiar.
