they painted over the security doors! they should've sold them or given them to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. or something.
The doors are nothing. You should have seen the walls in there. Or the bathrooms. Ha.
Sonny once told me (so take it with a grain of salt) that Hilly simply drywalled over the original graffiti-ed walls some time in the very late 70s/early 80s. So theoretically all the old original graffiti from the 70s was still there under the re-graffiti-ed walls. I don't know, man. In 1982 it looked to me to be about 5,000 years of graffiti and filth. I think I saw some Neolithic cave paintings way up in the corner...
