Bukowski, Charles. Crumb, Robert [Illustrator]. There's No Business. 1984. First Edition, Signed. (1 Viewer)

Bukowski, Charles. Crumb, Robert [illustrator]. There’s No Business. Black Sparrow Press. 1984. First Edition, Limited to 426 copies, signed by Bukowski and Crumb on limitation page. [3]; illustrated title page; publisher; half-title; pp.7-17. 11 X 8.

Bukowski uses his signature dark wit to tell the story of Manny Hyman, a faded comedian struggling to get a laugh. After a lengthy stretch of long-faces, Manny’s audience begins to turn. The tragic tale of Bukowski’s performer protagonist is perfectly paired with Crumb’s raw imagery.
