Bukowski's Influence on Musicians (1 Viewer)

Miss Take
I was wondering who knows which musicians have admitted to Bukowski being an influence, aside from U2?

I remember his name making an appearance in a Red Hot Chili Peppers song, and I remember one of Black Flag's albums being titled 'War All the Time.'

I'm really ignorant regarding this topic, but also pretty curious, so don't make fun of me, Gerard. gawd.

And if a topic like this has already been started, I apologize in advance.

But vodka you are so easy. You can handle it all by yourself.

I can tell you about RV salesmen who cite Bukowski as an influence.;)

Hi Jen;
Black Flag had an album called "My War", Poison Idea had an album called "War All The Time". To make matters more confusing, Black Flag had a bass player that went by the name "Chuck Dukowski".

Bill

Father Luke, thank you!

Bill, was it Poison Idea that did War All the Time? I should know that. I live in Portland and grew up listening to and watching Poison Idea play.

That's funny about the 'Chuck Dukowski' though. laughing.

Thanks for the knowledge, both of you.
