Google going after wikipedia? (1 Viewer)

Similar to a wikipedia entry, but not anonymously authored. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, as I can only assume that Google will tend to give preferential search result ranking to their "knol"s (ranking them above corresponding wikipedia entries? - ha).

The other major improvement over wikipedia is that real world users can rank the article's relevance or usefulness. Interesting stuff.

Wikipedia, while cunts, are still the leaders.
I hope Google Flattens them, and then someone flattens Google.

That's what I hope.

when i read the blog you originally linked, there was a section at the bottom that said, "links to this post," with places around the net that linked to the google blog. buk.net was numero quatro. way to go!
