I think Hollywood and also Locked in the Arms... talk about him going to a favorite restaurant and drinking quite a nice dry Riesling and drinking imported beer. Doesn't he drink Heineken in the film where he's interviewed in his home in San Pedro? (Sorry the name escapes me)
I think he moved away from rotgut wine, bottom-shelf booze, and cheap domestic brews, going for higher quality as he got more financially secure, if memory serves me well. Am I wrong in my recollection that he credits moving up to higher-quality alcohol with helping stay relatively healthy?
