i am a composer and I'd like to set some of the poems and writings in "Loving and hating Charles Bukowski", creating a musical language somewhere between contemporary orchestral music and electronic music, blending two voices (a female voice sung by Annie Barbazza and a male voice sung by Mike Ladd). The idea is to convey this passion, both constructive and destructive. A few months ago, I collaborated with Laurie Anderson and David Linx on my latest album, and the discovery of voice, which wasn't really part of my sound palette (apart from "Requiem pour Tchernobyl", composed in 2006), opened up new creative ways for me.
