strange thing to write in a newspaper about something so unspectacular like a marriage and moving to LA of two ordinary citizens, not celebrities or such.

I've been wondering about that before, and even more so when we had newsclips like about a children's-birthday-party.
 
unbelievable.
If these papers recorded every single visit of parents, children's birthdays, weddings, births, three-week-holiday absenteism and flea bite of every citizen, they must have been volumes the size of a phone-book each day.
 
Interesting how local papers wrote about boring events back then. At least they did'nt post photos of people's dinners like people do on Facebook. :D
