New here. I found this forum via a great article by mjp on John Martin's editing. This was eye-opening. I have a fifth-printing of Women, but there's no indication that it is the second edition (revised). How many printings did this go through, before it was released in its revised form?
I believe that the second printing is where the text was reverted back to Buk's version. So you have the true first, which is the wraps copy and the first hardcovers as the only examples of Martin's edits.
