the 300 pound whore (1 Viewer)

which poem starts with "when the 300 pound whore came to town I was ready"? A friend read it to me years ago, but I can't figure out which one it is, and only recently discovered it is a bukowski poem.

"when the 300 pound whore came to town I was ready"

Is that particular line from one of the Bukowski tapes clips?

edit: No, ignore me. Listen to Johannes. P. 186 in the blue cover edition of Notes.

the night the 300 pound whore came in I was ready. nobody else was ready but I was ready. she was god awful fat all around and not very clean either.

I'm not sure this one had been posted here previously, so here it is (just in case). It's from Open City No. 46, March 15-21, 1968.

There's another version of the 300-lb-whore-story in factotum. She mouth rapes poor Chinaski "took it like a malted through a straw" while Hank was screaming, "NO! NO!"

This story has one of the most epic beginnings of all Bukowski stories, if not of all literature imo. Any story that begins with the sentence "the night the 300-pound whore came in, I was ready" gotta be epic. Then the whole first paragraph knocks it out of the park.
