what poem is this. (1 Viewer)

"It's not the large things that send a man to the madhouse
death he's ready for
or murder, inciest, robbery,
fire, flood.
No it's the continuing series of small tragedies
that send a man to a madhouse
not the death of his love, but a shoelace that snaps
with no time left.
and with each broken shoelace
out of 100 broken shoelaces
one man, one woman, one thing
enters a madhouse
so, be carefull when you bend over"
Damn, that's probably my favorite poem.
But, whats the name? and in what book?
Thanks, -J

That's part of 'The Shoelace' from Mockingbird Wish Me Luck.

And I used my actual brain that time abel :D

Thanks Hank Solo.
That is one that i do not have yet.
I saw it in a reading on youtube and didnt realise that i was catching only part of it. Thanks.

God damn it, the first poem I knew the title of from an excerpt, and hank solo beat me to it. I guess I should have expected that.

It`s my all-time favorite poem also:

"No it's the continuing series of small tragedies
that send a man to a madhouse"

Who will disagree this statement ???
