Elephants Of Vietnam (1 Viewer)

Not sure if this is the right place to ask and I think I already know the answer, but is there a recorded reading of this poem available anywhere? I couldn't find it anywhere with a lot of searching, yet this place seems to have some obsessive members to confirm my thoughts.
Thanks in advance.

probably not.

it wasn't collected until The People Look Like Flowers at Last in 2007, so chances are it was written after Buk retired from readings, etc. (1980).

although I'm not exactly sure when the poem was written.

a quick scan of my Bukowski audio files shows nothing.

No recordings about then?
Any other poems of his that tackle the subject of war (preferably the effect on the people), I flicked through 'The Pleasures Of The Damned', couldn't really find much else. (hopefully one which there is recordings of)

There's a few poems that deals with WW II. One of them is called 'WW 2'. It's a 9 pages long poem about Buk being interviewed by a psychiatrist to see if he (Buk) is fit to go to war. You can find the poem in the collection called 'Mockingbird Wish Me Luck'.
