Movie Bombs - Films NOT to see (1 Viewer)

Gerard K H Love

Appreciate your friends
As we go to the movies let's try to save each other some money.

So far we are warned about:
The Love Guru -------------- Michael Myers, he has been funnier
Sleepwalking------------------ Charlize Theron, good acting in a depressing story.

Maybe this is too negative, if so the modeators can put this out of it's misery.

I would recommend that you movielovers avoid this dump of a film called Barfly. Just a rotten stinkin' piece of shit that is.

Thank you Ponder. So all movies are bombs??
No.

I think I watch 1 or 2 movies average a week.
Special movie channels. 1 a week isn't bad but to go to the movies and
not able to drink a beer or smoke or pee. No, I rather cuddle on the couch with my girlfriend and watch a movie. No, not a porn movie.

Did you watch the British open last weekend?

some people are going to argue with me I think...but to me Eastern Promises was a huge bomb. The acting sucked...especially Naomi Watts. The dialogue sucked. I don't like the director at all. History of Violence was a little better, but not much. I know a lot of people liked both movies.

Speed Racer

Wall-E

Space Chimps

What can I say... I have kids. These movies were all stupid and boring but the kids really liked them. I had hopes for Wall-E, but another Monsters, Inc. it ain't.

Really, chronic? I loved Wall*E. I don't think it's Pixar's best, but very enjoyable. Besides it really is a watchable version of 2001, which is great to me.

Id say 95% of Movies in the cinema at all times are utter Piffle!!!

did anyone see Teeth? Sounded interesting!

Wall-E was good but wouldnt sit through it again.

Hancock...Will Smith should be put down!

I was really disappointed with it. I was hoping that it would be on the same level of humor as Monsters, Inc. and/or The Incredibles, but it fell far short. It did have a few moments that were pretty good but overall it bored me.

Lol! Two very good points.:D

What is Piffle? It does not sound good.

piffle |ˈpifəl|
noun & exclamation informal

Nonsense.

ORIGIN mid 19th cent.: diminutive of imitative piff-.

After enoying both the 'Forty Year Old Virgin' and 'Anchorman' I've noticed that pretty much anything that Judd Apatow has been involved with has sucked. I'm also yet to be convinced that Seth Rogan and Jonah Hill are 'good' comedy actors.

Mamma Mia looks good

it all belongs on Piffle Mountain on Piffle Island under a Piffle plant beside a little retarded Piffle collecting ant named Mr Piff.........

rjwink666 - I agree with your assessment of Apatow and his band of not-so-merrymen. "Superbad" has proved he is out of ideas, I think.

I recently saw "Youth Without Youth", the first film in years from Francis Ford Coppola. What a mess. A tangled narrative with bad special effects - kind of embarrassing for a director of his stature.

Tried to watch "The Manchurian Candidate" (the original) a while back. Couldn't take it on any level. Dumb acting, hammy "suspense", a complete waste of time and I bailed out after about 45 minutes. I know it's supposed to be a "classic", but....

Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?

anyone seen it yet?

What is the actual title ?

For the love of God, don't watch The Mutant Chronicles when it comes out.
I saw in on the internet, and it is so cheesy and plotless your mind will lock down.

I mean, seriously. It's bad.

I'm glad someone else said this. I thought that I was too unsophisticated to "get it". Just a painful, bad piece of garbage, IMO. Very sad and one of the longest movies that I have the displeasure of watching since I saw "The Astronaut's Wife", which left me so angry at my own boredom, that I really want to Elvis my TV....
