AI says it was attributed to The Captain is Out to Lunch and the Sailors Have Taken Over the Ship. Which was plausible, but I looked and it's not in there.
This isn't a Find What You Love moment, but I think it's a good thread to keep an eye on these things -- with the caviat that there are probably hundreds of examples out there and we shouldn't be obsessed with it.
This one had the potential to be a Bukowski thought, but the delivery was wrong and the words contrived. I never heard Bukowski talk about a "Monday Morning Hangover" -- because he wouldn't.
