Interesting read, it has to be strange when you've reached some kind of fame, even limited fame, to know how to properly deal with people who deify you. Not saying, the author of the article did, but it's strange for everyone, the nervous author trying to blend in at the only place he can escape, and the readers almost looking for him there. It's surreal for everyone involved, and perhaps many times it's better not to meet your heroes, better for them. I've heard from so many old deadheads, who said they had the chance to meet or say something to one of the members, and especially Jerry Garcia, but opted to say nothing, some kind of solemn respect. And who knows who's right or wrong, but it's just a strange place to be
