Funny to see the cover, describing the poets frolicing in the sunshine spreading love, then read the excerpt from Bukowski's forward to Richmond's book inside.

Is the cover ironic (pomo)? Or are there really peace and love poems in there?
 
Here's a scan of the introduction (presumably) by D.r. Wagner. There aren't any poems about peace and love specifically in the hippie sense...

Well, there you go.

Those mimeo duplicating fluid fumes must have got to some of these guys. That or the LSD. One of those.
 
"The Stupid Are Best At The Cruelties" was used in The People Look Like Flowers At Last as the intro to chapter two.
