Found this on Amazon: Bukowski for Beginners. Whadda ya think? Know anything about the author and the illustrator?

that's a good 10 years old, just getting a new cover.

I have it, full of fast facts and quotes, etc. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to have every book that's Bukowski related.

As for both covers, the book should be named "Bukowski, drawn by beginners."

From looking at the sample pages it seems like a really odd idea for a book. Is the plan to introduce Bukowski into schools, or something? I can see how some writers may require a reference guide, but the beauty of Bukowski's writing is that it is accessible. I really don't like the illustrations either. I saw they had it in my local library so I may borrow it


and then die a little.
