a stamp for Bukowski is out (2 Viewers)

Of all the countries in the world that could honor our favorite substitute-carrier with a postal stamp, it is North-Macedonia to be the first. Who had ever thought?

They also have a 92-feet high monument to Alexander the Great in Skopje.
One is almost tempted to say they like to attract attention.

Btw, that must be the ugliest (and the most stupid) cover of Post Office (the book Bukowski's holding) I've ever seen.

I ordered 2 sheets from a site in Croatia ( Delcampe.net ).
Made a mistake and ordered 4 sheets, paid for 4. The four sheets did cost me 125. Canadian, which is too high, I am sure.
I believe that it is twice the price that it should be. I get silly like that, must be the confinement.?

That´s just awesome, Roni, you lucky guy! It´s called a First Day Cover. I hope some of them will turn up on Ebay sold by stamp collectors so that I can buy one.

Great looking stamps! I did´nt know it was Croatia which issued them. I thought it was Germany. Anyway, they look beautiful!
