Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame is a book of poetry yes, but also constructed of individual chaps/parts. While reading this work I have always had a personal preference: 1, 3, 2, 4 or rather "It Catches my Heart...", "At Terror Street...", "Crucifix...", then "Burning...". Can't really say why, I just like the flow of those chaps/sections better as a whole I guess. Though there are individual poems that stand out regardless.

How about you guys, you have a personal preference? Do you even read burning in the order it was assembled?
