Dear Mr. Bukowski 18/50 (1 Viewer)

$100?

They are hand silk screened, etc., I get it. But what are these? They aren't really postcards, because no one is going to use them as postcards. If they aren't postcards, then what are they?

An envelope full of silk screened cards.

Okay. What is the value of that?

Yep, I understand that the high dollar price is based on the fact that it is a limited edition. So what? What is it? It's not a book, it's a little pile of cards.

If a hard cover Black Sparrow book with an original Bukowski painting is less than two grand (at least pre-ghecksher), how in the holy bleeding hell is this pile of cards worth three grand?

It ain't.

That's all I'm saying.

The lowest price for these on ABE is $2,750. I wouldn't pay that much myself, even if I had the money. I'm happy with my little Maro Verlag reprint.

I still think that this ought to issued together with The Day It Snowed in L.A. as a single book. Are you listening ECCO?
