interview with roni on the radio (1 Viewer)

tomorrow, Tue 27th, at ca. 6:05 pm (MESZ = German local time) there'll be a short interview with me (approx 5 min) about Bukowski at a university-radio-station from Cologne.

You can hear the stream HERE.
The interview's going to be live. I will be sober.

Sober?!? Come on, man, you can't do an interview about THE MAN sober!?

Just joking. Kewl. I will try to get it.

By accident I found your youtube-clips, which are very cool too!

Hope it's okay to mention them here?

Now we'd need subtitles. roni ist working for the cause 24/7, as usual. Respect!

Roni, yeah, you said sober?

those you tube videos

you sound great and look great too! I only picked up a few words but I am

sure that you are telling it as it is. :cool

[...] By accident I found your youtube-clips, which are very cool too!

Of course it is. The public - that's what they are for.

Only, I wanted to have one or two more of them, before posting the news about the BUKOWSKI-CHANNEL, where I give reviews of Bukowski-books, including some biographical information and - of course - don't fail to advertise my own bukshop.

The idea would've been to have about 5 videos in there and then announcing the channel as a whole.

Anyway. At the moment I'm working on a review of 'Factotum'. That's what will be up next. Also, the letters are in my mind for one of the next ones.

Very nice videos, Roni! - I liked the bit about bukshop being 'cheaper than Amaz..cough-cough'. :D

Just listened to the interview.

The interviewer sounded like he was in a rush.
I'm not sure but it seems that Roni already had
pre-information on the questions because Roni
answered the questions promptly without any hesitations.
Or Roni is a pro.

The content of the interview was general,
but may be interesting to invite new German readers.
Roni suggested to read the poems in English.

[...] it seems that Roni already had

I am a pro.
And thus I did have pre-information.

I didn't know the exact questions, but had asked them to tell me beforehand, about the nature of their interest and what the general direction of the interview would be.

Time is a factor, you know. So I wanted to be on the point.

The guy who read Bukowski after the interview was a prick.

I've chosen to put the whole program online (about 30 min), where you can also listen to the prick reading Bukowski after my interview.

My interview starts at around 7:30 and lasts less than 5 min.
The sound-quality of my voice via telephone is shitty.

It's HERE. (right-click. then download. 32MB)

Not bad at all, Roni! Noting new for us Buk nuts, of course, but no doubt interesting facts for the general listener. Thanks for the link!

The prick, the actor Mathias something, was really into it when he read those Buk poems. :D

the interview is now online on its own (without the crap before and after) here.

And 's the next video on the Bukowski-Channel - about Factotum.
