Hey HC, where's "the best love poem I can think of" from?

that's an uncollected poem published in at least three different mags in the early 70's.

Is it the same as "The best love poem I can write at the moment" that is included on the Poems and Insults CD?

And yes, thanks for the scans H.C. Can you just run them through an OCR package?

Sounes says he couldn't find that quote anywhere. Martin says it's true.

I thought Bukowski mentioned the "fake" quotes in one of the letters books, but I could be imagining things again.

How many of those were written before 1951?

As I see, the book: the pleasures... Doesn't present the poems whit a chronologic criterion.
I think it's a real fault...

Was looking through Pleasures today and "I am eaten by butterflies" was noted as uncollected, but it was collected in Roominghouse Madrigals. Yes, a line and some words were added in Pleasures, or course, but it still is collected. I thought that was strange.

I've borrowed this collection (again) from my local library. Love the poem about his neighbour, I think it's called "A Boy and His Dog".
