The Real Order of Work

Hello dearest companions,

For the past two years, I have been trying my best to read all the Bukowski books in order of when they were written.

Since twenty-four, being based in London it has been quite a struggle to find older editions of his work, but I am trying my very best.

Before I read Pulp, I want it to respect my journey by ensuring I read every piece of work by him which is humanly possible to get or access.

I have spent hours searching around, trying to get the accurate bibliography of his, but the majority just say the order of when things were published, not written.

So, my dearest Bukowski fiends, has anyone managed to form a list of his books which are in order of when they were written whether published posthumously or not, I just want to get the relief that when I have that very poignant moment of reading his final words, I will know I did the best job I could have possibly done of reading his entire journey of growing up and expanding his world.

The thing you probably don't know (and there's no reason you would) is that the poems in some books were witten years apart. That's why we use the word "collection" around here sometimes instead of book. Also because we're subnormal.
