i cannot, for the life of me, find the poem this line belongs to. i'd only borrowed the book it was in from the library some years ago, and can't seem to recall the entire poem or the source any more.

the ending was
"and the waves crashed against the rocks [shore?]
like lies
like lies
like lies."

or something similar. anybody got a clue?
 
It took less than eleven years and the mystery is already solved: the poem disappear had been looking for is The Death of a Hero and it appears in Sifting Through the Madness...
