This is part of the LOOK INSIDE THIS BOOK feature from Amazon. I guess it's a photo of the Author? The book hasn't arrived yet, so I'm not sure. Not exactly. What a great guy! I'm so happy he put out this wonderful book!

Ha ha - if I could focus it, it wouldn't be any fun. I love that fucking camera.
Besides, real art snobs pay $300 for Diana's or old Soviet Lomos. ;)

Usually wrong.
My first digital camera was something called a Kodak Smile or E-smile. A lens the size of a fly's eye. It was unfocusable, and the images heavily pixilated. So, get one of those and you can have your fuzzy Holga images and your digital camera all in one. My favorite cameras long ago were the junk plastic lens cameras I bought in thrift stores for 39 cents. I published a small book of photos using those. Pictures of big donuts on top of donut shops. It was an L.A. thing. But I digress...

Yes, yes, yes, this book is GREAT. And would you believe I found it USED in a Frisco bookstore for $8.50...in perfect condition? Who the hell would sell it for a few meager store credits or measly dollars?! A real asshole, that's who. I'd like to thank that asshole.

I thought that the book was crap. Montfort's photos were not included at all. It would be like paying for a seven course meal and only getting the sorbet.

Just got a copy of this 2nd hand at about the 4th or 5th attempt. For some reason sellers kept saying they had it only to then turn around and say they didn't when they checked. Strange. I was beginning to think there was some conspiracy at work.
