Free: Todd Moore's Tribute Poem to Charles Bukowski (1 Viewer)

writing for

bukowski
meant drinking
writing was
no good
w/out the
wine
then there
had to
be the
rhythm
take a
drink get
a few
lines & if
the door
opened just
right for
the words
to pour out
he'd get
the poems
in clusters &
they were
all talking
to him &
the air
was rich
w/stories
all he had
to do was
reach
above his
head &
pick one
& then
it seemed
more like
dreaming
& the
wine &
the writing
made him
feel so
warm
