Actually this documetary is the reason I seeked out bukowski online.
In this documentary Towne mentions that Linda King called him a bum or something and Bukowski says "Don't call me that, I am Arturo Bandini"

I'm sure you guys know all this already though. I think it was a scene in barfly wasn't it, maybe not.

Anyhow, it was this documentary that has gotten me interested in reading these two. Now I just have to find the books.
