Bukowski and Linda late 70's - had not met for long at this point.

I think he was happy with Linda Lee, more or less. She was good for his soul.

Yes. Interesting to read his letters around the time he met her. Linda is referred to as 'nice' not the usually passion buzz stuff

Right. It's as if he enjoyed having a more normal, respectable relationship for a change. I wish Linda Lee would write a book about her life with him, but I don't think that's in the cards.
