ok, a VERY easy one: B said he was the "ugliest man alive" to A. Menebroker in a letter, but he was very proud of a certain part of his body, which was...?

I always looked for trivia buddies. O, I am really home now.

Interview with Buk in German Playboy. Which year?

Buk's comment: Interview of me, with me, in present German Playboy but since I can't speak the language I don't know what I said

No :)

Why do you think of 1980....intuition?

Where is my Spanish mentor who knows everthing? ;)

he's gone somewhere else :D

Well, I said 1980 because he's featured in a 1980 German Playboy issue. But I think he's also featured in 1983 and 1986 issues...

Ok, but do you know they interviewed Buk in these issues? (I don't know).

Hint: A German guy flew over and it was a "2 day drunk interview" and they payed Buk $650 :)

That was in issue No 12, December 1977, the interview was held early Sept of that year, the interviewer was Joerg Fauser of who Buk later stated "That guy was more Bukowski, than I am."

Wow Roni, they didn't beat you!

I was concerned about a counter-question but you gave the answer. :)

Joerg Fauser: I like him already....is he still alive?

Has the English version surfaced somewhere?
Don't think so. It's not even in 'Sunlight here I am'. So, sure, I was clear in advantage on this question. I'll think of a more international question till tomorrow.

Joerg Fauser: I like him already....is he still alive?
No, he died in 1987 on his birthday: walking drunk over the 'Autobahn' (=highway). Well ...

Céline, Fante and....hhhmmm, choice out of more writers.

Hamsun, McCullers for example.

But I would say, Hamsun.

In some way, you're all right.
But, No, babes!
A hint: It's not a question of his personal oppinion, but a quote from Buk.

HELL !!!
You're goddam RIGHT !!!
(as always in my life, i refuse ANY responsibility. (*hehehe*)
The bad guy cutting the regular line was another. Won't name here! *haha*)

Anyways, before you post Your question,
as is definitely your right to do! - would you like me
to give the answer to my last one / or another tip / or just let it go - since it wasn't my turn anyway?
You decide!

(again: sorry!)

Oh hell, that's OK :D
I was not serious.

If Jeffers was not right, I want to see if someone can answer your question.
It saves me having to come up with one that you will answer in just seconds :)

o.k.
Now, I sure wasn't wanting to post a too easy question. But am surprised (and proud - haha), it seems to be really hard.
well, to end it, here's a really true tip:
Do NOT think of his real influences! Think of an answer, he not only WOULD give, but gave in one of his own texts!

(btw thanks for your compliment)

Answer to make me look somehow noble; Oh no no...Bukfan deserves to go next because he answered a question that I couldn't.

Real answer; I can't think of a question it wont take seconds to answer!

You go, Bukfan :)

Ok, here we go:

In 1985 a miniature book about Buk was published. The title was "The King of San Pedro". - Who wrote it?

Ok, let's look at the poems...

The book title "What Matters Most Is How Well You Walk Through The Fire" is taken from the last stanza of a Buk poem. What's the name of the poem?

So, here's to the horseracing-afficionados:
A ripoff concerning the toteboard happened on March 22nd, in 1968.
Which track?
