I quite like Jackson (up to and including 'Bad' anyway). He was part of the soundtrack of my youth, if you like. But Jesus, there is some fucking shit on that list. There really is no accounting for taste, is there? I remember that Whitney Houston version of 'I Will Always Love You' being number one for about 10 years in the UK. Another awful movie song that was top of the singles charts for ages was Bryan Adams' 'Everything I do, I do It For You'. Back when people actually knew about / cared about what was 'top of the pops' that is.
