What are you drinking?

It's a virus, isn't it?
Yes :)

Like everybody else I was smoking everywhere and everytime, knowing, it's stupid, coughing myself up every 3+ stairs ... etc.

Now I step outside, it's more like taking a break from everything to me, you know. Still, it's very stupid. But there is something about smoking and balconies especially. I like the idea and standing/sitting there, looking out and down, contemplating nothing and everything. I often wonder what people are doing with or on their balconies who don't smoke? Sunbathe? Come on.

But back to drinking. Last night I had lots of green tea, which I normally don't like. But I have a cold and it was the only tea around. Whish I had had some hot rum to add. Would have helped.

Well, as a balcony-worshipping ex-smoker I am proud to report that many people make good use of them.

In fact, cigarettes are not required to sit and stare from a balcony.
and if it were, I would have to move to Kentucky for cheap cigs.

Cats love balconies.
A balcony plus a tarp equals storage space.
Romeo & Juliet features the best balcony scene.
Fastest weather check ? Step onto the balcony.
Tennessee Williams dug balconies too.
The hotel balcony across from Confederate Park
in Memphis TN offers a view of hookers and dealers
and the Confederate flag landscaped in blue and red.
I have NEVER fallen off a balcony because I have good friends.

These are a few reasons I love balconies.

well, since I killed the jug of merlot sooner than I had expected, I needed a bridge to Friday. A teeny little bottle of Seagrams (half pint) & and a 24 oz Steel Reserve. Perfect. Not enough for a headache of any kind...then it will be beer quantities for the weekend.

Those are some hot reasons, true. I've smoked my way through many balconies in town and each had their own advantages. Looking out on woods/grass/fields etc. you get the nice feeling of being in the heart of nature. Looking out into backyards with waiters from the restaurant downstairs dumping garbage you get the nice feeling of being in the heart of the city. Looking right into your neighbors window you get the feeling of being in a Hitchcock movie.

But it's no good in the morning and at noon. It has to be at least late afternoon or evening for balcony smoking. And especially at night, o, especially at night.

Yesterday I had some Trumer Pils, another Austrian beer, due to an invitation. My throat was still a bit sore, but it went down alright.

Since Roni had the good sense to keep posting during his banned days he has been granted a reprieve for his last half day.

Cheers!

Well its friday, and this hard-working family man has gotten himself a 6 pack of tall Ballantine Ales (with a Steel reserve back-up just in case). Wife and daughter are out of town (grandma), me and the boy are inhaling pizza. He's 9. we'll play some chess, and he'll move on to the video games...and I'll have another can.

Damn Slimedog, I haven't had a Black Russian since I tended bar at the Red Lobster in 1986 (finge benefits)...but yer makin me thirsty for one (or three). Of course I'd have to splurge on TWO bottles, Kahlua and Vodka right? Whats your recipe?

It's supposed to be one shot of Vodka and one of Kahlua but to save money I put in half a shot a lot of times.

I don't like milk much so white russians are out for me.

Indeed, if ever there was a perfect painter for the portrait of our man Bukowski it would have been Albright. Too bad that didnt get arranged. But we got Dorian Gray. We can pretend thats Buk.

Here's another booze recipe:

Buy scotch. Life bottle to mouth. Repeat as needed.
*Burp*

Formula's Formula: From bottle to bottle, everything empties...

Now it's time for a cold Mich Ultra and XBOX 360 Rapala Fishing Frenzy 2009 with junior. Some walleye need to be digitally boated.
