Officials say drugs may have played a part
I caught John Paul Jones last night playing mandolin with David Rawlings and Gillian Welch.
Very cool show...

I play guitar (not to be confused with "I am a musician") and love the wah but am equally a fan of the shag rug. Dig and be dug. It's a band playing live, so I don't get hung up on the location of said live performance, baby!
I just noticed that they show the guitar player's pedal (at 4:20, yo!) and it's a Vox King Wah in a field of bright green shag carpet. All of you wah aficionados will recognize that as the first U.S. made wah (they were made in Italy before that). I have a Crybaby from the same Thomas Organ, Los Angeles-made era and it's sweeter than Kansas honey.
All of you shag carpet aficionados will recognize the 1970s.
I had to skip; that pain in the teeth thing early on, but the latter portions do have that certain meshed timbre along with a very good vocal intonation that cannot be replicated by unrelated mortals.A nice acoustic version of the same song if you skip up to 7:30. But then why would you want to skip?...
Their autoharp could have used a tuning.that pain in the teeth thing early on...
Did a short review of it on qromag.comSlave vows by the icarus line
DarrenH: What is it? Too small a pic to tell.
And let me guess - you'll have a review on qromag.com...Primal scream in manchester next sunday.
Saw them both in chesterfield. Check out my review on qromag.com
Sounds like a great gig. And I've always had a bit of a thing for Bjork :cool:saw New Order on a triple bill in the late 80's with the Sugarcubes and PIL. One of my favorite shows.
